MITA members numbering 1,500 applauds this latest move as they have been facing many unsolved issues with SPAD despite holding meetings and discussion with them.

MITA President, En Uzaidi Udanis says that prior to this, Tour vehicles were governed and can be summoned by the Police, JPJ and SPAD.

He hopes that the Government will also look into MITA’s request of handing back the jurisdiction of Tour vehicles back to the Ministry of Tourism (MOTAC).
